Fashion and film stylist, writer, and presenter, Emma Versace has made a name for herself in the creative industies. Styling women over 40, Esma also works to empower and coach them to find their style and feel comfortable in their own skin.

Esma says fashion is her absolute passion and that working in the industry is a gift. “As a stylist, I love that I am able to help women, and men, be the very best version of themselves regardless of age, body shape or lifestyle. I never fail to feel privileged and humbled by their joy, their heart-felt appreciation, after a styling session.”

Since establishing fashion website frocknet.com in 2012, Esma has worked as a costume and wardrobe stylist for TV and film. Most recently, she was the stylist for the Australian short film Baba which premiered at the Australian International Film Festival Flickerfest in 2017. “Seeing my name up on the big screen was a hugely surreal moment.” Esma said.

Esma is currently the online style and beauty editor for Balance by Deborah Hutton and regularly presents style events and workshops for retailers such as Myer. She said the highlight of her career comes in the form of constantly connecting with inspiring women from all walks of life, as these women push her to strive for more and reach higher. “Meeting Lisa Wilkinson inspired and coached me to follow my fashion media dream. Becoming Deborah Hutton’s style and beauty contributor on her website Balance By Deborah Hutton was a pinch me moment.” Esma said.

Esma’s own fashion website frocknet.com has been a success. The site is dedicated to solving the daily style challenges of the over 40 woman through sourcing the best fashion, both in store and online, and showing you how to wear it best to your body shape, budget and lifestyle. Her words of advice to other business owners is to dig deep and be positive. “Believe in yourself and your brand and keep going. Working in the creative industry is full of peaks and troughs and constantly putting yourself out there can be both challenging and exhausting. Surround yourself with people that love and support you and ditch all toxic and negative people!”
